Documents with Bill Book application

          All the Drawing and Disbursing Officers are requested to submit the following documents along with the application for new Treasury Bill Book.

1. Proforma relating NPS details.

2. TAN Alloted letter or self attested copy of print out taken from Income Tax website 'Know Your TAN' page.

3. 24G verification certificate (The very same certificate submitted along with the  salary bill of February 2014).

Treasury Fixed Deposit - Interest Rate Revised

          In GO (P) No.77/2014/Fin dated 22/02/2014 Government have revised the rates of interest on deposits in the Treasuries with effect from 21/02/2014 as given below (old rates in brackets):


180 days & above but below 1 yr: General 7.5% (7.25%); Senior Citizens 7.5% (7.75%)

1 yr and above but below 2 yrs: General 9% (8%); Senior Citizens 9.25% (8.5%)

2 yrs and above but below 3 yrs: General 8.75% (8.25%); Senior Citizens 9% (8.75%)

3 years and above: General 8.5% (8.5%); Senior Citizens 9% (9%)

NPS - Regn. numbers for Offices

          The process of registration of DDOs under the Central Record Keeping Agency is going on. Now registration numbers are alloted to the DDOs coming under Sub Treasury Chavakkad. Please click here to download the excel file having DDO registration numbers of DDOs.

Data Collection for NPS

          Govt. of Kerala has decided to implement National Pension System (NPS) for the State Government employees w.e.f. 01.04.2013.

          To start the process of deduction, all the DDOs should be registered with the Central Record Keeping Agency. The registration process is through the treasury department. Inorder to make the registration, treasury dept. need some details about the DDOs. So all the DDOs including cheque drawing departments and local self govt. departments coming under the jurisdiction of Sub Treasury Chavakkad, Thrissur Dt. are requested to fill in the google form provided in the following link.

          Please treat this as most urgent as the details should reach the Treasury Directorate before 11am on 10.01.2014 after the Sub Treasury level consolidation.
