Documents with Bill Book application

          All the Drawing and Disbursing Officers are requested to submit the following documents along with the application for new Treasury Bill Book.

1. Proforma relating NPS details.

2. TAN Alloted letter or self attested copy of print out taken from Income Tax website 'Know Your TAN' page.

3. 24G verification certificate (The very same certificate submitted along with the  salary bill of February 2014).

Treasury Fixed Deposit - Interest Rate Revised

          In GO (P) No.77/2014/Fin dated 22/02/2014 Government have revised the rates of interest on deposits in the Treasuries with effect from 21/02/2014 as given below (old rates in brackets):


180 days & above but below 1 yr: General 7.5% (7.25%); Senior Citizens 7.5% (7.75%)

1 yr and above but below 2 yrs: General 9% (8%); Senior Citizens 9.25% (8.5%)

2 yrs and above but below 3 yrs: General 8.75% (8.25%); Senior Citizens 9% (8.75%)

3 years and above: General 8.5% (8.5%); Senior Citizens 9% (9%)
